I’ve spent the last 24 hours mulling over how to make this post. The truth is it’s a huge, multi-faceted topic and there’s so much I can say about it, but in the interest of brevity, I’ll just give you the highlights.
Several days ago, I was sent a link to a Daily Wire article by two different people. Normally, I wouldn’t have paid one iota of attention to anything coming from Daily Liar, the outfit run by Chabad Lubovitcher Ben Shapiro. The article concerned Pennsylvania governor Josh Shapiro, and his new department of health resolutions that he is planning to enact. I’m linking the article here and suggest that you read it. And then read it again. I know in this era of chaos, articles are posted, linked, sent, and passed around countless times per day. We all have some level of fatigue associated with the constant “breaking news” culture, so scanning headlines and skimming articles has become like survival mode. But this one is different. You need to read this one closely and ruminate on it.
One day after this article hit the interwebz, Pennsylvania suddenly had two deaths “associated” with measles. The PA department of health is reporting 393 measles cases this year and 94 new cases just in the past few days. But folks, this has all the markings of the COVID scam.
The same tactics employed during COVID have been dusted off: using the PCR test, ambiguous language like deaths “from” measles or “with” measles, withholding key information like the patients’ ages and comorbidities, contact tracing, forced isolation, & case count trackers. And there’s also vagueness about the term “vaccinated”. Are these people who never got a shot, people who need a booster, or people who recently received a shot (one is still considered unvaccinated for 18 days)?
So, this entire show smells like an op to let the weasel Shapiro weaponize his DOH, completely bypassing the PA general assembly. Public health cares neither for the public nor for health. It’s demonstrably just a vehicle for totalitarianism. As I said, read the article linked above to get the full flavor of what this guy wants to do. Hint: you will not be going to Mass if these people get their way.
If you’re in Pennsylvania (or anywhere, actually, as multiple states are reporting measles cases), have no fear of the virus. Measles is generally a mild to moderate illness that will confine you to bed for a few days. Sure, people can and do die from it. But people also die from strep throat, mononucleosis, and other illness that are considered routine. Get some cod liver oil as a source of vitamin A and carry on with life. You shouldn’t fear sickness. You should fear the totalitarian government.
