Notice the narrative being crafted here: a man shows up to a protest with a gun. And two magazines. No mention of the gun being loaded. No video footage showing the gun being brandished by the man who was shot. Just “have you ever taken a gun to a protest?” The obvious implication is that anyone who does this is unhinged, violent, and guilty of criminal activity.
How many of us here have gone to a protest with a gun?? Remember the Tea Party rallies and protests in 2010 surrounding the passage of Obamacare and the midterm elections?
Plenty of law-abiding citizens showed up strapped and armed to the teeth. Just because one exercises one’s Second Amendment rights does not imply ill intent.
Be careful hitching yourself to any wagons here, because this smells very much like an incoming attack in the 2A.
