On July 4th, when we celebrate the founding of the Freemasonic United States, I’d like to take a moment and remind the readership that “Americanism” is a heresy condemned by Pope Leo XIII in 1899
You can read his papal encyclical here: https://www.papalencyclicals.net/leo13/l13teste.htm
As we look around today, do we not find ourselves completely surrounded by Americanism, even in Traddie Land? I think so.
At the crux of the matter here is the rejection of Catholic Social Teaching over the civilian life and government. At present, we have Catholic politicians (I’m looking at you, Vance) who outright reject the Church’s teaching as they govern, claiming some flawed notion of “separation of church and state”, a notion which must be rejected by Catholics. Americanism also rejects the authority of God, favoring instead “liberty” and the idea of man being his own authority. Religious freedom and free speech are also principles that should be thrown in the trash heap.
Don’t confuse patriotism, the desire to see one’s country prosperous, with Americanism. I want to see the United States prosperous and be blessed by God, but first we as Catholics must reject assimilation with the decidedly Protestant nation and submission to a Freemasonic system of government. We must labor, fervently, to restore the Social Kingship of Christ before we could ever expect this rotten country to receive God’s blessing.
Ponder these ideas today. Read the encyclical. And while you’re at it, pick up some good summer reads:

And remember above all else, that today, July 4, is the First Friday. Make a good confession, attend Mass, and receive Holy Communion in reparation to Our Lord for the indifferences and outrages against His Sacred Heart.
Christ is King
