Do you recall the shocking images coming from Australia in 2020? Do you remember the premier of Victoria, Dan Andrews, that kept Melbourne under lockdown longer than any city in the world? The world watched in horror as Australia imposed some of the harshest, most Draconian restrictions in the world.
Well, it looks like Australia is back it, leading the world with “work from home” nonsense again and long lines at the petrol stations.
Does this mean we will be facing a lockdown situation that made the spring of 2020 look like a warm up? Possibly. So far we are just in the suggestion stage, but things could quickly devolve into mandates and restrictions again.
On Friday, the International Energy Agency (IEA) released a report that included measures that governments can take to reduce demands on international energy supplies.

Hmmmm. Again, who knows if this will become a “thing”, but you should prepare as best you can. Remember: when fuel costs go up, so does the cost of everything else, especially food. And many are warning that fertilizers used by the agricultural industry to produce our food cannot be transported through the Strait of Hormuz. If that’s true, we could be seeing an enormous impact on the food supply chain in the coming months and years. Is there a famine in store for us? I hope not, but one must admit that our decadent, overindulgent lifestyle might be curtailed by forced fasting, something we’ve refused to do voluntarily all these years.
Pray the rosary every day for peace in the world.
