There are a multitude, literally, of horrific and negative side effects of oral contraceptives. We know that and that fact has been documented time and again. But here’s another recent study to add to the list: “In our study, we show that healthy women currently using COCs (combined oral contraceptives) had a thinner ventromedial prefrontal cortex than men,” said Alexandra Brouillard, of Université du Québec à Montréal and first author of the study published in Frontiers in Endocrinology. “This part of the prefrontal cortex is thought to sustain emotion regulation, such as decreasing fear signals in the context of a safe situation. Our result may represent a mechanism by which COCs could impair emotion regulation in women.”
Share this. Why on earth would anyone think this sounds like a good idea? People may say I’m preaching to the choir since my readership is Catholic, but it’s well known that many Catholic women still take the Pill, and many modernist priests downplay the sinfulness of contraception.
But violating God’s Law always has consequences in this life not just hereafter.
